Casa Libélula (meaning House of the Dragonfly) is a rare retreat set within a protected nature reserve in the heart of Comporta. Just over an hour from Lisbon, the house sits on a private plot with sweeping 180° views across rice fields that stretch all the way to the Atlantic dunes.
There is nothing between you and the ocean but the whispering rice fields, the dunes and the sound of the waves. Here, privacy and peace are absolute. Fall asleep to the sea breeze and wake with the sun as it rises over the gardens and the birds skim the fields.

Access to the nature reserve is through a coded gate reserved only for local property owners, ensuring seclusion and tranquillity from the moment you arrive. Casa Libélula is tucked discreetly behind thatched gates, along a sandy track — a place that feels truly hidden away.
